Support procedures depend on each student’s situation and consultation details.

Reasonable Consideration Procedures

1Applying for Prior Consultation and Support
Please contact us by phone or email, or come to see us directly. We’ll set the date and time for your consultation. When interviewing, please fill out the “Support Application Form” and the “Handling of Personal Information Consent Form.”
2Applying for Reasonable Consideration
The “Reasonable Consideration Application Form” and the related necessary documents (medical certificate, etc.) need to be submitted to the faculty of your department.
3Reasonable Consideration Review Meeting
Students, Student Accessibility Support Room staff, faculty of affiliated departments, and supervising teaching staff will hold discussions and decide, based on the initial request, whether to provide special consideration and at what level it should be provided.
4Request for Consideration
We will ask the department head, etc., from the related department to provide a “Consideration Request” to the teaching staff in charge of classes.
5Implementation of Reasonable Consideration
Reasonable consideration is implemented. The plan can be corrected and adjusted as necessary.
6Evaluation and Revision
We regularly evaluate and revise the rational considerations. The frequency of such varies accordingly based on each student’s situation, but this is mainly done at the end of the term.

2Support Planning
The Student Accessibility Support Room will work with the student to decide on a support plan.
3Consultation on Details of Support
The supervisor from the Student Accessibility Support Room will discuss support details with educational affairs staff or the supervising faculty in the affiliated department as necessary.
4Implementation of Support
Individual support is implemented. The plan will be corrected and adjusted as necessary.
5Evaluation and Revision
We regularly evaluate and revise the individual support plan. The frequency of such varies accordingly based on each student’s situation, but this is mainly done at the end of the term.
