Employment Assistance

Support for Job Hunting

Students with disabilities will conduct job hunting activities in the same way as most students do, but depending on the type and degree of their disability, they may require support. The Employment Support Section is available for general job hunting information and consultation, and the Student Accessibility Support Room can also provide consultation related to disabilities in cooperation with the Employment Support Section, so we hope you will make use of this service.
The Student Accessibility Support Room can also provide advice on available social systems and introduce outside specialized institutions (Hello Work, Vocational Center for Persons with Disabilities, Support Center for Persons with Developmental Disabilities, etc.) as needed.
In addition, in cooperation with the Employment Support Section, we intend to develop and introduce internship sites for students with disabilities, as well as efforts to provide information on job hunting activities. Since job hunting activities differ in many aspects depending on each individual case, please consult with us first.

Employment of Persons with Disabilities

The Company is promoting employment measures for persons with disabilities with the aim of creating a society in which it is normal for persons with disabilities, etc. to fully utilize their hopes, abilities, and aptitudes, and to play an active role in accordance with the characteristics of their disabilities, and in which it is normal for persons with disabilities to work together with other persons with disabilities.
The Law for Employment Promotion of Persons with Disabilities obliges companies to employ persons with disabilities equivalent to 2.2% of their workforce (the employment ratio system for persons with disabilities). Companies that fail to meet this requirement are required to pay a fee to the employer, which is used to pay an adjustment fee to companies that employ more persons with disabilities than they are obligated to, or to subsidize the cost of facilities and equipment necessary to employ persons with disabilities (the payment system for the employment of persons with disabilities).
In addition, for persons with disabilities, vocational rehabilitation such as job training, job placement, and assistance in adapting to the workplace are provided to ensure that detailed support is provided according to the characteristics of each individual’s disability.
